About Kelechi

 Kelechi is the founder and director of KU Consultations.  She has worked 16 years to the within the NHS alongside various professional in dofferent sectors.

She has a wealth of experience in her field, including in Nursing, Health Visiting, Safeguarding Advisor, CAMHS Child Protection, Named Nurse, and at a strategic Safeguarding Board/Partnership level. She is an Association of Child Protection Practitioner [AOCPP] trustee and has participated in their 2021 podcast on child exploitation. In addition, Kelechi was one of the speakers at the 2021 University of Kent child exploitation conference.

She is an independent Safeguarding Consultant, a SLIP Reviewer, and an Associate trainer facilitating adultification nationally on behalf of Listen Up research within the NHS, Police, and Children's Services sector. Kelechi currently provides expert training and consultation on: Trauma-informed care, child exploitation, cultural competency, serious youth violence, extra and Intra-familiar harm, contextual safeguarding, intersectionality, childhood neglect and think family.
